We stumbled upon Scheers Schnitzel completely by accident while walking around Berlin wall. and it turned out to be a great find. If you’re looking for a proper, tasty schnitzel, this is the place. The portions are generous, the food is fresh, and everything comes out fast. Just a heads-up: don’t expect table service. It’s more of a canteen-style setup — you order at the counter, collect your food, and then grab a seat. Honestly, that’s part of the charm. It’s straightforward, quick, and perfect when you want something delicious without any fuss. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for a quick bite that still feels satisfying. A great accidental discovery and definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

MUST GO. Not even “must try”—if you’re in Berlin, you have to go to this place! 🇩🇪 The concept is super easy: you order from the screens, get a number, and once your food is ready, you pick it up. Simple and quick! We tried both the veggie schnitzel and the regular schnitzel, and they were DELICIOUS. My personal favorite was the one with the mushroom sauce. Very affordable too. Honestly, one of the best schnitzels I’ve ever had! This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to every time I’m in Berlin. 🤤

I've been eating here my whole life and it has never disappointed me. The Schnitzel is always good and the fries are very crunchy! Love all the sauces that they have and the addition of the ordering screens makes it a lot easier!

Schnitzel served in a cool bar. The portions are huge and the prices are very good so it's great value for money. There are plenty of options to choose from, including pork, chicken, vegan, and tofu dishes. We tried the classic tofu schnitzel burger, it was excellent

Very good schnitzel, great super crunchy fries, awesome potato salad. I love that you can just serve the sauces yourself, my absolute favourites were chilli mayo and aioli. Very recommended!

This restaurant is a gem. I lunched twice over the course of a long weekend in Berlin. The restaurant offers a different set 4 course lunch every day, with a choice between vegetarian and carnivore for main plate. The ingredients are locally sourced, fresh, seasonal. The ingredients are artfully combined with a good balance of whimsy and classic. Expect fresh farm butter, cheese, and cream. Artisonal bread. and plenty of greens and vegetables. On my by lunches there was a soup course, a fresh salad, an animal protein (mussels and sausage), and a desert. Both days, the desert was extraordinary, with creme fraîche, home made yogurt, and berries. An example of the playful experientation: the yogurt and berries was drizzled with olive oil and herbs. To drink, they served a hot ginger and lemon what was fortifying on a rainy day. Also sampled some good artisonal beer, and a verbena citrus home made non alcoholic spritz. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic. The windows are large and combined with high ceilings, the place feela bright and airy. Wooden tables reinforce the rustic - farm to table themed menu. Dinner is a la carte with a broader selection. I didn't have the opportunity to try it. Next time in Berlin I hope to. The closing time is last call. So don't worry if you arrive for lunch at 1:50pm - you are still in time. Service was exceptional. The servers made every effort to accomodate, were friendly and unhurried about our staying at our table long after closing. When mussels were served, they even brought a bowl of lemon water to wash hands after. They took their time to explain patiently any part of the menu we wanted to know more about. They were attentive when needed but discreet about not interrupting the group's conversation unnecesarily. The lunch experience was so memorable that I booked a night at the hotel. That will be the subject for a seperate review. Beware that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. The Michelberger also runs a bar with breakfast and snacks that's open from early to late 24/7. Also recommend it.

I went on my own and the very nice team made me feel more than welcome and comfortable the moment I arrived. the atmosphere is relaxed, the interior effortless and the food definitely worth a visit. actually I could have been just satisfied with the bread and butter alone - 100 one of the best I’ve ever had. but then the deer: perfection on point. honestly I did not even expect that much. also a nice selection of wine by the glass. highly recommend.

I had been looking forward to visiting this place for some time and i finally went with my wife just last week. We greatly enjoyed the food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere. The dishes were creative, very tasty and beautifully presented. We ordered a la carte, vs the chefs choices menu, since we wanted to try different things, but both options are good. It was very nice to learn that the menu changes a few times per year, since i am sure we will visit this restaurant many more times.

Amazing tasting menu (mostly vegetarian with some non veg proteins available) and drinks. Very tasty. The drinks with their in-house liquor is soooo good! The chocolate dessert was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

It was very cold and rainy so had to find a quick shelter and this place was conveniently located in front of the train station. I just ordered latte macchiato which was not bad just wished it was hotter, and the croissant was good to be fair. The young lady at the cashier was very nice and welcoming so service was great. It's a nice spot to people watch as well and watch the world go by.

I like this specific starbucks here because you can sit in front of the building and observe the area. The drinks are good, the service people are friendly and since i was not here for a while the food has changed. They are offering nice stuff to munch. My recommendation for this starbucks at the east side mall (beside the uber arena)

I mean it’s an average Starbucks, nothing special. BUT it has strong ac. Public announcement: it has STRONG AC, air conditioning, Klimaanlage, all of the above. Came here on the hottest day of the year (well I hope it was the hottest day and that no more will come), almost completely melted and this place revived me.

Easy to locate and a fair number of seats to take a rest. Drinks are meh though. Ordered a Vanilla Latte but it wasn't nice. Tasted diluted with no vanilla fragrance. Look of the drink was okay though. Rather disappointing cos I have tasted better Vanilla Lattes at other Starbucks. Can give this starbuck a miss if you are into nice coffee. 😑

We enjoyed it. One of the female staff gave us some problems getting a table. The place was empty and I wanted a comfortable chair. She said all the comfy chairs were reserved. However, when a group of Asian girls came in, they were happy to accommodate them. The food was great. All the kimchi was excellent, and authentic. The chicken and pork BBQ were marinated and cooked in a gochujang sauce. They had many sauces to dip the meat in, but the sauces didn't really go with the gochujang marinade. The white rice was excellent. If it wasn't for the bad attitude from that lady, 5 stars all around.

Chicken bulgogi, kimchi jiggae and kimchi pajeon for 2 pax. Superb! Happy to find a Korean restaurant tuck nicely near the East Side Gallery. Kimchi Jeon was abit underwhelming but the rest were great. Highly recommended! Great staff too

Amazing Korean food, I highly recommend the Korean barbecue for sharing (pork belly). Maybe the best Asien food I have ever had, and I have had a lot. Would go there again!

Very good dish and a sufficient portion size, but the side rice was average. I have mixed feelings about the service, as I had to wait longer than other customers who arrived after me before my order was taken (several minutes’ difference). The same happened at the end when it was time to pay the bill. The dish also arrived with the knife in the plate covered in sauce…

The Schwarma sandwich is OK. Good value for the money 3.5€. But it can be very slow and the staff doesn't have a sense of priority, people who arrived last are served before the ones who ordered before. Quite slow serving for a fast food. 20 min wait when there is no queue.

Excellent place to get middle eastern food. They have great Shawarmas. Walked in here and had the food inside and it was perfect. Staff was friendly. They have free wifi. Prices are reasonable. Portions are big. Very clean and great service.

Visit this place every time we are in Berlin. Can't beat the falafel bowls or wraps. Reasonably priced and large portions. Would definitely recommend for a nice cheap fast-food kind of pitstop.

Incredibly tasty Chicken Schwarma (Döner Kebab) - it feels like actual chicken meat and not ground meat stuck together on the spit! Also the variety of toppings is amazing!

Not quite a beergarten I was expecting. Only 2 draft beers on tap. Great seating overlooking the canal. Food was quite good but limited menu. 60cm pizza looked amazing.

Went there with few colleagues for dinner and was a great night . Place is really huge and the outdoor seating is amazing over the river but couldn’t sit outside due to weather . Indoor vibes are nice and most important service as impecable ! Waiter knew every single details of the menu and even suggested not to order more dishes cause portions are large and Yes …. Really were large especially their pizza !! Quality of food was great too , I highly recommend visiting Pirates whenever in the area

I had an amazing experience at Pirates Berlin. The place offers a fantastic view, especially by the water, which really adds to the overall atmosphere. The people here are honestly so nice – really warm and welcoming. The place is super clean, and the whole vibe just puts you in a good mood. If you go, you have to try the caramel nuts, especially the cashews. Trust me, they’re insanely good.

I wanted to go in for some time but my German is so bad I was too nervous. I finally went in and the lady was so nice. She suggested I get 300g because it was a special price of the mixed caramel nuts but I said no; I wasn’t sure if I would like it but woah! I definitely should have gotten the 300g! So tasty and delicious! My new favorite snack for sure!

Really tasty carrot cake, coffee also was nice, a bit small. Didn’t get how ordering works, felt a bit chaotic and left alone. Overall was fine, unfortunately one big group joined me at my table, so reading and enjoying my coffee wasn’t possible but it wasn’t restaurant problem that sth like this happened.

I didn't rate the food because I didn't eat Anything there. I was there for drinks. The place is an aesthetic cafe bar. One can just grab a book and relax or have quality time with their friends.

this cafe/bar is such a vibeeeeee, i went there to work on my laptop for a bit and the staff were so friendly about it! i found the music selection so fun and the place is just buzzing in general, also the interior and lighting is so cosy and aesthetic!! left feeling very inspired ✨definitely coming back w some friends for a glass of wine or two ;)
