A great taste of a traditional street food in Germany. I tried the 2 currywurst sausages with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise. It was delicious and a very generous portion size. Prices were reasonable €8.70. Lots of options on the menu for other varieties of wurst and sides. The tables outside the venue were fine and it was cleaned promptly between the people before me. This is definitely a fast food place with not much atmosphere to hang around for. A good stop on your next trip to Berlin.

As a cultural phenomenon it certainly deserves 5 Stars but as a culinary item, the currywurst isn’t exactly amazing. I am sure that much like with hot dogs, there are some wonderful places that execute it extremely well but I haven’t found one yet. Great atmosphere, great working crowd mixed with tourists, cheap and accessible. Perhaps I do recommend it as a must in Berlin. The sausage is fine, not in any way special, it is covered in curried ketchup and works well with a side of fries also drowned in ketchup and mayo. Your curiosity and hunger will certainly both be satisfied here.

Curry 36 delivers exactly what you’d hope for from a legendary Berlin currywurst spot! This is cheap, satisfying, guilty-pleasure food at its finest. Perfect for a quick energy boost during a day of sightseeing, and I imagine it’s an absolute winner for late-night munchies too. Great Value: The prices are fantastic - beer for just €2.60 and 2 wursts with fries for €8.50. You really can’t argue with that kind of value in the heart of Berlin. Read reviews on google and booked today's lunch. It was superb! Everything from the fresh bread to homemade butter to appetizer, main course, I was totally satisfied. I ordered ice cream as dessert, that wasn't my favorite. But cafe latte was good. Well-worth 21 euros.

Average at best. Had a business lunch here. Service was good but food nothing great. I ordered a duck soup which tasted like salt and not much more and for main pork medallions which wee also salty with mash. Not sure if I would recommend the place.

Real Mexicans are cooking ... great flavors. Fast food, great taste. Not a big selection but definitely worth trying the asada especial!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a party of three and everyone enjoyed their meal including steak, veal and pasta dishes. The wine list was not large but adequate and reasonably priced. Suggest you make a reservation as we did not and had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated.

Sam is the best waiter, great recommendations! The truffle tagliatelle is divine, and my friends burger, she said was absolutely fantastic. We were also here last night, and the food was so good we came back again. Lovely restaurant, highly recommend it.

Decent place to eat - almost good value to money ratio. Would not recommend for someone who has time or attitude to search for something nicer but would definitely recommend for families or big groups

Impressed with how quickly our food came, and it was piping hot and delicious. That's some excellent kitchen prep. Service was charming and attentive, and the place felt cozy despite being so big.

Me and my daughter came to berlin and we visited twice , the staff are especially welcoming . Our waiter santi was so attentive and lovely and if we ever come back to verlin we will be sure to visit here again . The food was 10/10 and the restaurants atmosphere was very relaxing

We had a birthday brunch for our friend. To start with, the service was very sluggish as they seemed to forget our orders while we were waiting for dishes to come for nearly one hour. Also they didn't seem to have a dedicated waiter for us as I saw 3 different waiters. In terms of food, I was happy with my greed bowl but my friend had a very small bowl of Sukshika (Tomatos with eggs) ,which looked like a side dish rather then a main dish. They also forgot to bring any bread so I asked for her. In general, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Really really like this restaurant Breakfast choices are savoury, sweet or both and all delicious! We appreciated that they made hand sanitised available in light of the ongoing pandemic. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Will most certainly come again

Very tasty surf & turf. This name is used in multiple other restaurants but Roca is the winner for me. The lobster was very well prepared, not overcooked, not too dry, easy to get everything out of the shell. My friends had burger and Currywurst and they were happy with the meals. The service was good but a bit slow.

Highly recommended - welcoming staff, excellent tasty steak cooked as requested. Comes with very flavoursome garlic bread and a jacket potato with sour cream. A fresh and plentiful salad with dressing of your choice also provided as a starter. Prices very reasonable for all courses (incl desserts). Would definitely return.

This place is simple and the food is good. My steak was ordered medium and was under cooked in the middle. Services was good before or during the meal but it was difficult to get my check and leave.

The food was very tasty. I think the meat was well seasoned, but sadly it was a bit grainy in texture. Maybe it wasn’t stored in an ideal manner. Nonetheless that didn’t spoil the whole experience. The staff was amazingly friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice. Just wish the tables would have a bit more privacy as it is normally the case in regular steakhouses, but again, it was just fine. Overall I would recommend it and would definitely come again for a second evaluation :)

Jim Block, a name synonymous with quality burgers in Germany, finally had my attention. After hearing numerous positive reviews, I was eager to experience their take on the classic hamburger.The burger itself. Visually, it’s appealing, a well-stacked patty nestled between soft, inviting buns. The combination I opted for with cheese and jalapeños was great. The flavor profile was indeed well-balanced. The cheese was gooey and complemented the jalapeños perfectly, providing a satisfying level of heat without being overwhelming. The soft buns were a highlight.However, the patty, unfortunately, fell slightly short. While the flavor was good, the texture was a bit too chewy and, surprisingly, a little dry. The front-of-house staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They greeted customers with genuine smiles and were helpful in explaining the menu options

Some of the most delicious burgers in Berlin! I come here very often, I tried the entire menu, all the burgers are very tasty, juicy, filling and at a very reasonable price. The staff is good, service is fast. Very clean and cozy.

From the outside, this descendant of "Block House" is reminiscent of an American diner, so of course it had a good chance with me. I wasn't disappointed either, I got a really solid burger and the best coleslaw salad since I've been back in Germany. I found the food to be of high quality and the prices were justified.

I never tried this place before so I gave it a shot. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It was okay. The meat was too chewy for my liking. The fries were good. The ambiance overall was nice. It was a Thursday so it wasn’t crowded. The guy taking orders at the counter was really nice and friendly.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's absolutely top notch on every level, down to picking up your coat before you sit at your table as and bringing a purse 👛 hook 🪝 to the table for your convenience. The flavors are carefully paired in every course. The atmosphere is warm, luxury and inviting. The Italian speaking friendly waitstaff bring authenticity to the beauty and of this restaurant gem. We were dining with our USA friends, their 1st time in Berlin. They were raving about the restaurant and were beyond grateful for the introduction to Nuovo Mario!! She said it was the best salmon she ever had!!

Had a fantastic company dinner there tonight. Service was great and gold incredible! It’s the best salmon pasta I ever had. I really enjoyed the chunks of salmon and the scallions inside and the sauce was excellent. We had a fantastic evening with my colleagues. I appreciated how you can tal and hear eachother and at the same time you don’t hear the other tables. We didn’t have room for the desert but the sabayon desert really looked exceptional!

Love it! At first, I hesitated because I thought it might just look good. But right after placing my order, I felt fortunate that I made this choice. It tastes absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best in this area! Just a note: O₂ coverage is poor when dining in.

I used to love this place for years but it feels like food quality decreased through the time. I ordered steak with grilled vegetables on legume mash. The mash was cold, the vegetables were only purple carrots ( and raw potatoes as deco?!) and the meat was not chewable at all. I gave it back and payed half of the price. There still still many good things to order but this was a disappointment, unfortunately. ( also the flat white was half a liter of milk with espresso taste). Really hope it gets better.

If you want to spend money for good food, spend it elsewhere. Pasta was cold and salmon smelled after fish. The place looks fancy with nice views of church, but the food is nothing special for money you pay :/

Beautiful location with a great atmosphere and visually impressive dishes. The setting really elevates the experience and makes it feel like a place you’d expect in a capital city. That said, when compared with food scenes in cities like Munich, the overall culinary experience doesn’t quite reach the same level. A lovely spot for the ambiance, though those visiting primarily for the food may find it less memorable.

I had high hopes for Royal Benny (Benedict eggs), given the luxurious combination of ingredients. The brioche was soft, the torched salmon was well-prepared, and the truffle touch was a nice addition. The service was great, and the place had a pleasant atmosphere. However, the most important aspect failed: the eggs, which were supposed to be poached, were completely cooked. Not just one, but both eggs were hard-boiled, with no trace of runny yolk. For a dish centered around poached eggs, this is a serious and unforgivable mistake, especially considering the price. The contrast between a runny yolk and hollandaise is what makes Eggs Benny come alive, and here, it was completely missing. A dish with so much potential and such good presentation just can't miss the basics.

I tried the Shogayaki lunch menu. The sashimi slices were not that fresh, the shredded radish and tomato in the salad were starting to smell bad, the shogayaki was okay, but no ginger taste. Rice, misso soup, tsukemono and salad dressing were good. Good portion size for the price. And they give green tea for free, with refill. Cannot say anything about other dishes, but wouldn't change my way just to visit this restaurant.

Sushi enthusiast here, I’ve been dining here for years, even before it was renamed ONNOYA. The food has always been consistently good, and I really appreciate the quality and flavor, especially for the price (though it has become a bit more expensive after renaming and the pandemic). It’s also a favorite spot for my kids, which says a lot. Just a small note: if you’re dining in during the day, the natural lighting in the main area can feel a bit dim, even on sunny days.

It's just near the TU Berlin, not too crowded on weekdays, no reservations needed. Great don for the price (under 10 Euro), full of chopped salmon and veggies. The bento box sashimi was very fresh and the accompaniments were great. Crispy Tempura..
