It’s a kiosk so don’t expect anything fancy since it is also street-food. I loove their currywurst they’re so good. They have a few standing tables next to the kiosk but it is not always easy to find a spot. It is also a great location facing the destroyed church and right outside of the station.

As a cultural phenomenon it certainly deserves 5 Stars but as a culinary item, the currywurst isn’t exactly amazing. I am sure that much like with hot dogs, there are some wonderful places that execute it extremely well but I haven’t found one yet. Great atmosphere, great working crowd mixed with tourists, cheap and accessible. Perhaps I do recommend it as a must in Berlin. The sausage is fine, not in any way special, it is covered in curried ketchup and works well with a side of fries also drowned in ketchup and mayo. Your curiosity and hunger will certainly both be satisfied here.

A great taste of a traditional street food in Germany. I tried the 2 currywurst sausages with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise. It was delicious and a very generous portion size. Prices were reasonable €8.70. Lots of options on the menu for other varieties of wurst and sides. The tables outside the venue were fine and it was cleaned promptly between the people before me. This is definitely a fast food place with not much atmosphere to hang around for. A good stop on your next trip to Berlin.

Cheap, iconic, touristy, traditional, quick - these are all really good descriptions as to why Curry 36 is a place you should visit immediately Berlin. It’s one of the best ways to try the traditional currywurst, with fries and ketchup and mayo for less than €10!

Read reviews on google and booked today's lunch. It was superb! Everything from the fresh bread to homemade butter to appetizer, main course, I was totally satisfied. I ordered ice cream as dessert, that wasn't my favorite. But cafe latte was good. Well-worth 21 euros.

Average at best. Had a business lunch here. Service was good but food nothing great. I ordered a duck soup which tasted like salt and not much more and for main pork medallions which wee also salty with mash. Not sure if I would recommend the place.

Real Mexicans are cooking ... great flavors. Fast food, great taste. Not a big selection but definitely worth trying the asada especial!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a party of three and everyone enjoyed their meal including steak, veal and pasta dishes. The wine list was not large but adequate and reasonably priced. Suggest you make a reservation as we did not and had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated.

Sam is the best waiter, great recommendations! The truffle tagliatelle is divine, and my friends burger, she said was absolutely fantastic. We were also here last night, and the food was so good we came back again. Lovely restaurant, highly recommend it.

Me and my daughter came to berlin and we visited twice , the staff are especially welcoming . Our waiter santi was so attentive and lovely and if we ever come back to verlin we will be sure to visit here again . The food was 10/10 and the restaurants atmosphere was very relaxing

Food was absolutely delicious. Toilets are beautiful. Clean and tidy. The inside was very nice and big and outside was nice and relaxing, even a candle was put out towards the night. Unfortunately, the surrounding area can be annoying as it is right below a train station and next to a bus stop. Food and service was mainly good however ordered chips, never arrived but was still charged. Quickly sorted out which was good. Would recommend definitely as the food was so nice and service was mainly good, and the bathrooms were good which is sometimes rare in bars and restaurants. Did notice the logo was actually the word press logo!

Staffs are very friendly but noone bring us menu and salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar when the bread are served...the risotto and salmon with lobster sauce are very delicious. Will come again. 16.09.2024 To reply the owner reply. Yes, everything was ok. The seasonal dishes were delicious. I only want to say, there were no spicy on our table, since I took the salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar from the next table for our bread, no big deal, it's all fine.

During our stay at the Waldorf hotel, we decided to have dinner at the ROCA restaurant. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant, and the staff were extremely attentive and polite. We ordered two unusual salads, and they were absolutely delicious, even though the flavors were not entirely traditional for us. We also had a steak with potatoes, and the steak was cooked perfectly, exactly as we wanted. We had a wonderful evening — thank you very much!

Rock is a beautiful restaurant—we came here for an early lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s an elegant spot, perfect for weekend brunch or a relaxed lunch during the week. The food was nicely presented. We ordered the beef steak dish, pasta with meat and another pasta with prawns, and bruschetta. Overall, the quality was good, but for the price, I felt the dishes could have had a bit more flavor—just my personal opinion. The steak, cooked medium rare, was slightly overpriced, while the pasta was enjoyable. We also had some good wine, along with soft drinks for the kids, which rounded out the experience nicely. I would give it another try next time we visit Berlin. I do recommend it, but keep in mind that flavors and seasoning can vary depending on the country—Germany, Italy, and the U.S. all have different approaches so it’s best to go in with an open mind.

We had a birthday brunch for our friend. To start with, the service was very sluggish as they seemed to forget our orders while we were waiting for dishes to come for nearly one hour. Also they didn't seem to have a dedicated waiter for us as I saw 3 different waiters. In terms of food, I was happy with my greed bowl but my friend had a very small bowl of Sukshika (Tomatos with eggs) ,which looked like a side dish rather then a main dish. They also forgot to bring any bread so I asked for her. In general, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

There's a long queue at the door during peak hours. If you arrive early, you won't have any problems with the queue. The place is quite spacious; it might be the largest branch in Berlin. The food is very delicious, the meat dishes are really excellent. The salad served as an appetizer was a truly fresh treat. The entire menu, including the desserts, is quite tasty. The service is above average by German standards. Recommended; if you want to eat meat in Berlin, this is the right place.

The food was very tasty. I think the meat was well seasoned, but sadly it was a bit grainy in texture. Maybe it wasn’t stored in an ideal manner. Nonetheless that didn’t spoil the whole experience. The staff was amazingly friendly and the atmosphere is quite nice. Just wish the tables would have a bit more privacy as it is normally the case in regular steakhouses, but again, it was just fine. Overall I would recommend it and would definitely come again for a second evaluation :)

Yesterday we visited Block House near the Zoo area, and overall it was a great experience. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and professional. The only issue was the table size. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children), and the table felt too small for us. We also had a baby stroller, but we could not take it up to the dining area because there was no elevator available, and there was no suitable space to keep it nearby. This made it a little difficult for a family with children. Apart from that, we really enjoyed the food and the service. A little more attention to family seating and stroller accessibility would make the experience even better.

I love burgers and I have tried many burger places in Berlin. I have never been happier with any of them more than Jim Block in the last 7 years. This is my favourite spot in the town and it is quite underrated. Thank you guys for serving us tasty and high quality burgers with a consistent quality over a really long time that I have been your customers.

Jim Block, a name synonymous with quality burgers in Germany, finally had my attention. After hearing numerous positive reviews, I was eager to experience their take on the classic hamburger.The burger itself. Visually, it’s appealing, a well-stacked patty nestled between soft, inviting buns. The combination I opted for with cheese and jalapeños was great. The flavor profile was indeed well-balanced. The cheese was gooey and complemented the jalapeños perfectly, providing a satisfying level of heat without being overwhelming. The soft buns were a highlight.However, the patty, unfortunately, fell slightly short. While the flavor was good, the texture was a bit too chewy and, surprisingly, a little dry. The front-of-house staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They greeted customers with genuine smiles and were helpful in explaining the menu options

Some of the most delicious burgers in Berlin! I come here very often, I tried the entire menu, all the burgers are very tasty, juicy, filling and at a very reasonable price. The staff is good, service is fast. Very clean and cozy.

From the outside, this descendant of "Block House" is reminiscent of an American diner, so of course it had a good chance with me. I wasn't disappointed either, I got a really solid burger and the best coleslaw salad since I've been back in Germany. I found the food to be of high quality and the prices were justified.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's absolutely top notch on every level, down to picking up your coat before you sit at your table as and bringing a purse 👛 hook 🪝 to the table for your convenience. The flavors are carefully paired in every course. The atmosphere is warm, luxury and inviting. The Italian speaking friendly waitstaff bring authenticity to the beauty and of this restaurant gem. We were dining with our USA friends, their 1st time in Berlin. They were raving about the restaurant and were beyond grateful for the introduction to Nuovo Mario!! She said it was the best salmon she ever had!!

Had a fantastic company dinner there tonight. Service was great and gold incredible! It’s the best salmon pasta I ever had. I really enjoyed the chunks of salmon and the scallions inside and the sauce was excellent. We had a fantastic evening with my colleagues. I appreciated how you can tal and hear eachother and at the same time you don’t hear the other tables. We didn’t have room for the desert but the sabayon desert really looked exceptional!

Really good place with delicious food. Had a surf and turf with Primitovo - really good food. Helpful service, but the menu could be in english. During the dinner someone had birthday so they brought a cake and candles.

I tried the Shogayaki lunch menu. The sashimi slices were not that fresh, the shredded radish and tomato in the salad were starting to smell bad, the shogayaki was okay, but no ginger taste. Rice, misso soup, tsukemono and salad dressing were good. Good portion size for the price. And they give green tea for free, with refill. Cannot say anything about other dishes, but wouldn't change my way just to visit this restaurant.

It's just near the TU Berlin, not too crowded on weekdays, no reservations needed. Great don for the price (under 10 Euro), full of chopped salmon and veggies. The bento box sashimi was very fresh and the accompaniments were great. Crispy Tempura..

Sushi enthusiast here, I’ve been dining here for years, even before it was renamed ONNOYA. The food has always been consistently good, and I really appreciate the quality and flavor, especially for the price (though it has become a bit more expensive after renaming and the pandemic). It’s also a favorite spot for my kids, which says a lot. Just a small note: if you’re dining in during the day, the natural lighting in the main area can feel a bit dim, even on sunny days.

Quick and good. Waitress are smiling and super fast to take orders and serve. You sit and they bring you a free tea (during the lunch time). Choose what you want and in an average of 5/10 minutes you are eating. That happen also when the place is full. Food is fresh and good. Lunch time (11.30 - 15.00) there are special discount. Definitely recommend.
